GRADARA
Gradara was theatre in 1289
of one of the most evocative event of the Middle Ages, then
recounted by Dante Alighieri, Boccaccio and D'Annunzio in
their poems: the ill-fated love between Paolo Malatesta
and Francesca Polenta, Paul's brother's wife,
Giovanni Malatesta. The epilogue of the famous story known
by all the lovers of the literature and the Rocca di Gradara
was its theatre.
